Shopware project for Lauterbach GmbH

Founded in 1979, Lauterbach GmbH quickly established itself as the market leader in in-circuit emulators and JTAG debug tools.
Today, Lauterbach's TRACE32® tools have become the de facto standard in the industry. The market leader in development and embedded design employs 80% software and hardware developers. The company offers worldwide sales, support and marketing and works closely with leading semiconductor manufacturers.

Challenge

As part of the Shopware project, the website underwent a comprehensive overhaul. This included a new design and the development of a modern product configurator. Particular attention was paid to restructuring the shopping cart system and the checkout process, taking customer-specific requirements into account.
An important focus was on the presentation of product dependencies in order to offer customers a better shopping experience. In addition, automatic data transfer from an ERP system to the shop was to take place.
This involved both importing data and processing requests from Shopware in order to keep the product data on the website up to date.
For multilingualism, an external tool called Weglot was integrated at the customer's request to make the website more accessible to international customers and expand the company's reach, thereby also reducing the editorial effort.

Solution

A modern and accessible design was developed using Shopware 6. This made the website more visually appealing and functionally enhanced, offering visitors a contemporary and personalised shopping experience.
In addition, the Shopware 6 Enterprise plugin "Custom Products" was integrated for product configuration, and dynamic product detail pages were created that automatically adapt depending on the product combination.
