Maintenance simulator
Our maintenance simulator is designed to address a classic question in a manufacturing company: "How often should I maintain my machines to achieve the greatest possible profit?"
In our example, we assume that the company produces something that flows through pipes. However, production causes these pipes to become contaminated. We assume that this contamination increases exponentially.
In our simulator, you can now play around with the values:
- How fast is pollution increasing?
- How long does maintenance take? (In other words, how long will the machine be out of service?)
- How often should maintenance be carried out?

Sprint calculator
Our sprint calculator shows how to calculate the costs of a Scrum development team. Various parameters can be set, and the sprint calculator then calculates the costs for the desired team.

Usability plays a crucial role, especially when developing complex analyses. The front end of the calculation functions plays an important role here, because optimal accessibility expands the circle of potential users.
That is why we usually recommend developing a suitable front end for data science analyses. R has been offering the excellent Shiny package for some time now. This allows you to start or customise your analyses quickly and easily.
