With branches in 28 countries and a turnover of just under 2.5 billion euros, BayWa r.e. is a leading global developer, service provider, PV wholesaler and supplier of energy solutions in the renewable energy sector, and is actively shaping the future of the energy industry.
dkd Internet Service GmbH manages all TYPO3 websites for BayWa r.e., including baywa-re.com and baywa-re.de.
Requirement:
novotegra GmbH is a manufacturer and developer of the eponymous mounting system for photovoltaic installations and distributes its products to installers across Europe. It also offers a wide range of consultancy services.
novotegra GmbH’s services range from product development and manufacturing through to distribution and consultancy services.
To achieve these objectives, novotegra needed its own website, as until now it had only had a subpage on BayWa r.e.’s German corporate website. The design was created by the external agency ‘Experience One’. We are the partner responsible for the technical implementation as part of our general collaboration with BayWa r.e. in the TYPO3 sector.
Solution:
The website’s key function is to present novotegra GmbH’s mounting systems, categorised by roof type. This includes a list of the respective benefits, technical descriptions of specific components, and links to downloads such as data sheets, installation instructions, etc.
The website is responsive and multilingual, hosted on one of our servers and delivered via the Cloudflare CDN. The project was implemented in close collaboration with BayWa r.e. using the Scrum methodology.
The entire website was developed within approximately three months, and the launch date set at the outset was met exactly.
