TYPO3 website relaunch for Minebea Intec GmbH

Requirement:

Under its new name, Minebea Intec, the technology company aims to establish itself even more firmly in the premium segment in future. The requirements for the new website, which had to be conceived, designed and technically implemented by dkd as part of the brand relaunch, were accordingly high. In addition, the corporate design developed for the new brand identity had to be consistently transformed into the web medium. The integration of an already established spare parts shop and full support for multilingualism were just as much a matter of course as the development of a coherent operating concept.

Solution:

The Minebea-Intec.com website was completely redesigned and made responsive based on TYPO3. As part of the relaunch, the website was optimised for a wide range of typical end devices (from smartphones and tablets to desktop computers) and browsers. In addition to the technical implementation, dkd also took care of the entire concept and layout design.
One special feature of the website is an editorially maintainable text-image element that picks up on the slant characteristic of the brand's print presence and makes it available on the web. Another feature is jump navigation, which facilitates quick and targeted access to specific page content. As the Minebea Group also operates globally, multilingualism was implemented and made available to users via a combined language/country selector.
