TYPO3 website relaunch for the Freunde der Kronberg Academy e.V.

The Freunde der Kronberg Academy e.V. is a non-profit association that supports the training of young soloists and the work of the Kronberg Academy. For over 30 years, its members have been committed to promoting classical music and fostering exchange between music lovers, students and teachers. The association has over 2,000 members and organises receptions, concerts and lectures.

Challenge

The Kronberg Academy wanted to give its support association, »Freunde der Kronberg Academy e.V.«, its own web presence – with a professional online presence that would showcase the association's work. At the same time, the new website needed to be closely linked to the existing Kronberg Academy website in order to seamlessly utilise central functions such as the event calendar. A particular challenge was to clearly integrate the association's numerous concerts and events and create a separate news section – without having to build a completely new technical infrastructure.

Solution

Thanks to Kronberg Academy's existing, powerful TYPO3 12 instance, we were able to efficiently set up an additional website for the Friends Association – without creating complex structures. The new site integrates seamlessly into the existing system and uses central features such as the event calendar, the people feature and a separate news section. We were also able to harmoniously adopt the design, ensuring a consistent brand image.
The result: a modern, user-friendly website that effectively presents the association while making efficient use of the existing structure.
