Relaunch of the intranet for Condor Flugdienst GmbH

Requirement:

Following the insolvency of the parent company Thomas Cook Group plc, the internal communication systems were quickly separated from each other and were largely unusable or unsuitable for Condor. Condor wanted to become an independent company and therefore needed a quick solution for a flexible intranet in order to provide employees with essential information in a central location.
Initially, the idea was to reactivate an old, archived TYPO3 system. However, after a joint evaluation, it was concluded that a relaunch based on t3quick would be faster and more cost-effective.

Solution:

The project was successfully implemented within approximately six weeks based on t3quick in close cooperation with Condor and using agile methods. The t3quick foundation enabled us to provide a system for Condor on our servers within a few days, allowing them to start content maintenance very early on. This also resulted in successful cooperation in ongoing development.
The development mainly comprises colour and layout adjustments. In addition, a connection to Condor's booking system was implemented so that internal performance values can be displayed for employees. Finally, hosting with automated deployment via Jenkins was implemented on Condor's internal systems.
There was no design phase: we started with t3quick, adopted the colours and then adjusted the details piece by piece in direct consultation with Condor.
