Götz Wegenast, born in 1968 in Heilbronn, Germany, is married and has three kids. He is managing shareholder of d.k.d Internet Service GmbH.

After an apprenticeship at the Deutsche Bank he is completing his studies of Economics at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft in Pforzheim, Germany, with a specialisation in taxes and revisions. He graduates in 1996. From 1996 to 1999 Götz Wegenast works as executive assistant at a project developer in the field of renewable energies.
